A click, a swipe — two phones dinged hundreds of miles apart, and a match was made. What started as a simple “like” quickly turned into late-night (so late it could be called early-morning) phone calls, shared goofy photos, and endless laughter. Soon enough, a date was set.–On a cold, crisp afternoon in Milwaukee, Mahesh zoomed in from Chicago to the Milwaukee Public Market. Shortly after, Pavitra pulled in — both right on time, unlike they’re known to be. After some dueling chivalry that rendered Mahesh speechless (a rare feat), a shared ginger wellness shot that brought Pavitra to tears, and a lot of food, they headed back home. But they both knew something felt different about that day, that date.–Their story continued in New York – a city full of adventures, bustling energy, and new beginnings. Mahesh showed Pavitra around his favorite spots, they shared the best food, late nights with friends, her love for arts and culture at museums and shows, and he took her on his infamous Central Park walks. Amidst the chaos of the city, they found comfort in each other, and on a chilly winter New York night, they confessed their love — and never looked back.–About a year and a half later, in true Mahesh fashion, he proposed on a beautiful summer day on a boat, with the city skyline shining behind them. Pavitra, caught by surprise, said yes (and nearly fell off the boat — thankfully, Mahesh caught her). They celebrated that perfect moment with a few friends and family, and now they can’t wait to celebrate the next one with you.
